While participating under the Digital India initiative of the Government of India, the Direct-to-Home (DTH) company Reliance Big TV announced a new plan in India on Wednesday.According to Reliance Big claims, the company will show about 500 free-to-air channels for free for 5 years in the new plan, while paid channels will be shown for free for a year.
Interested customers can pre-booking for the set-up box on the official website of Reliance Big TV from 1 March 10am. In the latest HD HEVC of Reliance Big TV, users will get features like scheduling recording, USB port, U Tube access and watching TV shows. The pre-booking can be done through the official website and during this time Rs 499 will be paid.
Apart from this, for the set-up box and outdoor unit, it will have to pay 1,500 rupees. As soon as access to paid channels is closed after 1 year, customers will have to recharge 300 rupeesper month . In this way, after completing 2 years of recharge, 2,000 rupees given in the beginning will be refunded. That is, after three years of purchase, the entire money will be refunded to the customers.
Announcing this new plan, the company’s director, Vijender Singh, said that this plan is going to define the future of entertainment in India. He said that Reliance Big TV is ready to bring digital revolution in entertainment from an HD HDV HD HEVC set-top box for free.
